Fiona has practiced as a psychologist in a range of settings in Perth and regional Western Australia over three decades. She has worked for or provided consultancy services for public sector and private organisations within health, education, industrial/mining and defence services.
Fiona has extensive experience in the field of mental health for adults and older adolescents. She has been a reservist psychology officer (holding the rank of Lieutenant Commander) with the Royal Australian Navy for the past 24 years. She was awarded the Humanitarian Overseas Service Medal for service in the Indian Ocean in 2005.
She has considerable experience in military psychology, critical incidence stress debriefing and treating acute stress reaction and post-traumatic stress disorder. She has provided on-site consultancy and training for organisations often in remote locations including at sea, or overseas deployment, in the Goldfields and North West Western Australia and other remote locations throughout Australia.
Fiona has operated a private practice in Clinical Psychology since 1995.
